Can I trust Him?

John 5:8-9

8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.”

9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath.

 Comments:

Jesus's 3 commands:

1. Standup

2. Take your bed

3. Walk

Will the man do all 3?

Yes, even immediately!

No delay, no excuses, no discussion, just action. Why? Obviously he wanted to be healed, & he believes in Jesus. Obedience to someone proves confidence in that person. Immediate obedience proves total trust in them. What should I trust Him for?The man is transformed, he trusts Jesus fully. 38 year cripple is carrying bed & walking. Wow!

Q's:*Who do l trust? Parents, teachers, coaches, teammates, boss, Christ?

 *How quickly do l obey?

*What good things have happened because l obeyed, even quickly?

As a leader we want & need others to have trust in us. Reading the Bible builds truth in our lives & helps us follow truth in others. Easiest to follow Christ & others who pattern their lives after truth like He does.
