Rookie Division Eligibility – 2-Year Limit from Start Date

At RMN Events, the Rookie Division is reserved for athletes who are within their first two years (730 days) of wrestling experience. This is measured from the wrestler’s first recorded competition, not just RMN participation.

Once an athlete reaches 730 days from their first competition, they are no longer eligible for the Rookie division—regardless of any breaks, injuries, or gaps in participation.

We use any available wrestling profile to determine this start date—typically, but not limited to, RMN Events, Trackwrestling, and FloWrestling records. For example, if a wrestler competed for 6 months in 2021, took two years off, and returned in 2024, they are considered beyond rookie status because their first match was over two years ago.
