If you have been at home working out on your own or with your teammates, we know that you are ready and raring for an opportunity to return to actual competition on the wrestling mat! RMN Events has been diligently working to provide you with just such an opportunity by relocating previously scheduled tournaments to THREE attractive and safe sites this July and August!
RMN Events 2019-20 season will continue and conclude with three can’t-miss high-caliber events which will draw top-notch competitors from all across the country. In coordination with NUWAY, we are jointly sponsoring two dual and individual combined tournaments in Bettendorf, IA (USA Nationals, July 25-26 … new site) and Rapid City, SD (Mt. Rushmore Mayhem, August 1-2).
The annual highlight competition, the Rocky Mountain National Championships, will culminate the 2019-20 RMN season this August 21-23 at the centrally-located, spacious HyVee Sports Complex in Kansas City, Missouri. The USA’s first multi-level athletic facility, Hy-Vee has hosted several professional sports teams as well as the men’s and women’s NCAA Basketball Final Four.
Freestyle competition under the 2019 rules will be offered at all three sites. For the combined dual meet and individual tournaments, you may sign up for Saturday’s dual team competition as part of a team or as an individual who wishes to be assigned to a team to fill a missing weight class.
At each site, the number of mats and participants will be limited and/or scheduled in separate age-group sessions, so be sure to register early to reserve your spot! Please go to www.rmnevents.com for the latest information as well as what you will need to register.
All three sites offer a multitude of team and family vacation opportunities in the immediate vicinity. RMN Events works with each host city to provide entertainment, food service, and lodging at a discounted rate for all participants as well anyone who accompanies an individual or team.
Adhering to safe, CDC-approved health precautions is of the highest priority for RMN Events. Therefore, we will be performing temperature checks on every person – athlete, coach, staff, official, or spectator – who enters the facility each day. In addition, staff and officials will be wearing a face shield or mask, as well as disposable gloves. We have implemented additional cleaning procedures for the mats and will supply each mat table with antimicrobial wipes and fluids.
