Places we need to go.🚙

John 4:1-6

1 “Therefore when the Lord knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John

2 (though Jesus Himself did not baptize, but his disciples)

3 He left Judea and departed again to Galilee.

4 But He needed to go through Samaria.

5 He came to a city of Samaria which is called Sychar, near the plot of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

6 Now Jacob’s well was there, Jesus therefore, being wearied from His journey, sat by the well. It was about the sixth hour.”

Ben’s Comments:

 Jesus is practical. He will avoid trouble with the religious leaders.v3 But at the same time He needed to go where others avoided because of their prejudice.v4

Why did He need to go there? He is always following His Father. And it is His Father’s will that people in that region hear of Jesus.

 Where do we need to go? Jesus was sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. If we are followers of Christ we too can be led to places & to people that need to hear God’s message from us. Who can we encourage today? There is nothing like one 🤼‍♂️ wrestler telling another 🤼‍♂️wrestler Who is most important to them🦻
